Mobility Maps
Access Solutions National (ASN) are the lead disability access consultants in the development of Mobility Maps throughout the South Eastern part of Victoria.
Mobility Maps are a fantastic resource for all community members, especially those who have a disability condition. A Mobility Map is an easy to read and understand map the identifies the accessible facilities available in a precinct area. These are great for visitors to the area and are a great way to attract more people to the area.
ASN’s Mobility Maps include a wide range of information and are not strictly focused on wheelchair access. Our Mobility Maps aim to provide a range of facilities that are important to most people generally. ASN develop high quality mobility maps that include, but limited to:
- Accessible Parking Bays
- Steep Gradients
- Information Centre
- Accessible Crossing Points
- Public Phones
- BBQ’s
- Accessible Toilets
- Playgrounds
- Police Stations
- Council Buildings / Facilities
- Medical Centres
- ATM’s
- Places of Worship
- Seating
- Bus, Tram, Train & Taxi Stops
- Picnic Tables
- Supermarkets
- Post Offices
Mobility Maps can be of precincts, Universities and Townships. Even large premises such as shopping centres can have a mobility map developed by ASN.
