A proportionate assessment, built around your question

Sometimes you need a comprehensive audit. Sometimes you need a clear answer about an entrance, bathroom, fit-out or proposed alteration. We shape the accessibility assessment around your objective, document the limits and provide enough context for your team to make a sound next decision.

What our accessibility assessment service covers

  • Site assessment: A targeted or comprehensive review of physical conditions, user routes and relevant access features.
  • Design assessment: Independent review of plans and details to identify accessibility risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Options assessment: Comparison of proposed approaches, constraints and likely user outcomes to help teams choose a workable direction.

How the service works

  • Question: We clarify what you need to know, why it matters and what information is available.
  • Evidence: We inspect the site, review documents or combine both approaches.
  • Direction: You receive concise findings, recommendations and any matters needing further design input.

Who we work with

Organisations planning a lease, acquisition, refurbishment, service change or targeted upgrade—as well as project teams needing an independent access review.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between an assessment and an audit?

An audit is often a systematic review against a defined framework. An assessment can be broader or more focused, shaped around a particular design question, barrier or decision.

Can you assess a building before we lease it?

Yes. A pre-lease assessment can identify access constraints and potential upgrade implications before commitments are finalised.

What information do you need to quote?

A site address, brief description of the building or project, available drawings, the areas in scope and the outcome you need are usually enough to begin.

Can you assess a proposed alteration?

Yes. We can review the proposal in the context of the surrounding accessible path and flag issues for the project team to resolve.
