Creative Solutions to Increase Access

DDA Compliance Report

Turn accessibility findings into a report your team can understand and use. We document observed issues, explain their relevance and set out practical next steps.

Access Solutions National (ASN) provides practical, accredited advice relating to the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (DDA), the National Construction Code (NCC) and the AS 1428 suite of Australian Standards. Our advice is clearly documented and focused on workable outcomes.

A strong report connects evidence to action

A long checklist is rarely enough. Decision-makers need to know what was assessed, what was observed, why an issue matters and what should happen next. Our reports are structured for clarity, with traceable findings and recommendations that can move into design development, budgeting or an accessibility action plan.

What our dda compliance report service covers

  • Defined scope and criteria: The report records the site, documents reviewed, inspection limits, methodology and relevant assessment context.
  • Photographic findings: Issues are located and illustrated so facilities teams, designers and contractors can understand the barrier.
  • Actionable recommendations: Each recommendation is written to guide the next decision, with priorities or staging added where the brief requires it.

How the service works

  • Brief: We define the purpose, audience, property scope and reporting requirements.
  • Assess: We inspect the site or review documents and compile supporting evidence.
  • Report: You receive a quality-checked report and can arrange a findings briefing.

Who we work with

Building owners, project teams, property managers, legal and risk teams, public bodies and organisations formalising an accessibility improvement program.

Frequently asked questions

Does a DDA compliance report guarantee legal compliance?

No report can remove every legal risk or replace legal advice. We clearly state the assessment scope and provide professional access observations to support informed decisions.

Can a report be based on drawings?

Yes. For proposed work, we can prepare a design review report based on the available drawings and specifications. Existing-condition reports generally require a site inspection.

What is included in the final report?

Typical reports include scope, methodology, executive summary, documented findings, photographs where relevant, recommendations and an action or priority schedule.

Can you update the report after changes are made?

Yes. We can review revised drawings, evidence of completed work or undertake a follow-up inspection and issue an updated record as agreed.
